Michelle Turner Art is complying with the General Data Protection Regulations that take effect from May 25th 2018.

 

Michelle Turner is the business owner and also the Data Protection Officer. Michelle Turner Art requests your name, email address, telephone number and if you are client or customer, your address and details relating to the artwork, prints or products that you wish to purchase or have already purchased. This is so Michelle Turner can provide her Art commissions and Printed Products service responsibly. This personal information is stored on a cloud CRM / email marketing system called Mailchimp. Their privacy policy is available to view at http://www.mailchimp/legal/terms  The system is accessed by Michelle Turner only on a password protected chromebook. Michelle Turner Art uses your personal information to contact you about your Art commission or Printed Product order or to keep you notified of events and news via the Michelle Turner Art emailed newsletter. Michelle Turner Art does not share your contact details with anyone without your written permission. From 25th May 2018 all clients who are happy to share their personal information with Michelle Turner Art solely for the reasons above will be required by law to:

  • Give permission for their personal information to be stored by Michelle Turner Art.
  • Give their permission for Michelle Turner to use their email address and name for the newsletter provided by Mailchimp.
  • Give their permission for Michelle Turner Art to store personal details on Mailchimp.
  • Understand that they can have access to the data held by Michelle Turner Art on Mailchimp.
  • Agree Michelle Turner Art can keep personal details stored on file until asked for it to be removed.
  • Understand they have the right to have their personal information removed from Mailchimp.
  • Understand their personal data will be destroyed if they do not wish to renew their affiliation with Michelle Turner Art and that they have the right to be forgotten.
  • Understand that Michelle Turner has one month in which to comply with a customer’s request for data
