This original painting 'Colonel Tom' - by Michelle Turner was auctioned on Florence Nightingale's 200th birthday by London's Gallery Different and Artists for the NHS with over 50 artworks by professional artists - all proceeds going to Meals for the NHS. Making the top 4 highest bids of the auction. The new owner of the painting donated the painting to an NHS hospital for public viewing and will now be hung in Chelsea and Westminster Veterans hospital for in honour and celebration of Sir Tom Moore.
